European Court of Justice ruling will push up cost of motor insurance. It will also push up the cost of Pension Annuities.

The European Court of Justice ruling which will come into effect on 21st December 2012. Will force insurers to use the same rates for men and women. As women live longer than men insurers will have to equalise annuity rates. This will mean that the unisex rate will be significantly worse than the
current rates for men.
